Financial assistance is provided to individuals living with Myositis disease. Assistance may be provided to help cover necessary expenses such as medical equipment, travel expenses related to medical care, prescription/medical reimbursement, transportation, or insurance deductibles.
*Please Note*: The Board of Directors meet once a month to review requests for assistance. Applications received after the meeting will be held until the next monthly meeting.

Team Tommy Foundation believes strongly in the need for research for Myositis disease in order to better understand it and provide help to people living with the disease process. Therefore, we support The Myositis Foundation (TMA) and 20% of the money we raise goes to TMA for Myositis research.
Annual Patient Conference
Each year Team Tommy Foundation provides funding for a conference scholarship to 5 individuals and their caregiver so they can attend The Myositis Association's Annual Patient Conference. It includes registration for attendee and caregiver plus hotel accommodations. We recognize the value in attending the conference where the world's leading Myositis experts present the latest research and findings. In addition, it is an opportunity for patients to connect and network with one another so they can have support groups throughout the year. Formal requests must be received by The Myositis Association deadline in order to be considered for the annual September conference.
